Is refractory cement the same as fireproof cement?
“Fireproof cement” is the name many buyers use for refractory cement: a heat-resistant cement for ovens, fireplaces and furnaces.
Can I fix cracks in my pizza oven with refractory cement?
Refractory cement is commonly used to patch cracks and gaps. Larger structural damage may need bricks replaced or a section rebuilt; our repair service can assess it.
Can I use ordinary cement in a pizza oven?
Not in the hot parts of the oven. Ordinary cement is not made for oven temperatures and can crumble.
